New! In Acchord's second CD Departures was released on Oct 19,
2004, at a concert in the Byham Theatre. Featuring 14 new recordings (with
mp3 samples): Brown Eyed Girl, Come Go With
Me, Istanbul (not Constantinople), Kiss Her Goodbye, Little 'Bitty Pretty
One, Love the One You're With, Moondance, Seven Bridges Road, Sign Your Name,
Smooth Operator, Spiderman, What I Like About You, We Walk the Same Line, and
Whirlpool. Over a year and a half in the making,
recorded at Mr. Smalls and engineered by the incomparable Billy Rossi,
this CD features a
multi-tracked recording, and incredible sound!
In Acchord's debut CD, Harmonic Convergence, was recorded in the
winter of 1998. Fueled by the calls of fans, In Acchord put its
collective nose to the grindstone, and went from conception to
finished product in four months. Obviously, the group lived and
breathed those 13.5 songs for 3 solid
months, spending countless hours in rehearsal and carefully counted
hours in the studios at Audiomation in Pittsburgh under the watchful
ear of Dave Bjornson, its awe-inspiring engineer/co-producer.
Harmonic Convergence was released to the general public at a release
party held at Doc's Place in Shadyside.
